Sealer for dry streambed rocks?
Sealer for dry streambed rocks? (post #11777)

We have a "dry stream bed" landscape feature, about 4' x 10' full of round river rock 2" to 8" in size. Normally they look light gray or light brown, but when they get wet the colors come out: reds, blue, green. I'd like to keep them "wet looking" all the time, and wonder if anyone has successfully used a sealer to accomplish this?

That sounds like a question for the guys at Breaktime.

Clear Varnish.
Just watch out for it going yellowish after a few years.
Some type of concrete sealer (post #11777, reply #3 of 3)
Some type of concrete sealer might work. I would find a company that does the fancy etched and stained concretes. Ask them what they seal with.
