Why I am not renewing my subscription

The August 2010 issue included a snarky, ill informed article on compost tea by Jeff Gillman. I sent the article to the professionals who help me maintain my garden, where compost tea has made an incredible difference in plant vigor and soil health. I was hoping they would respond with some facts, including the great results at Harvard University, mentioned and dismissed by the author. Turns out we were all too busy gardening to respond to Jeff's drivel.

Time passed and today I received my renewal notice. I have decided not to renew my subscription to Fine Gardening, since the folks in charge seem to inhabit a landscape different than the one where I continue to happily apply compost tea.
