Could someone please identify the lavendar flowers located in the center of the front page of the 2012 Fine Gardening calendar" Thank you for your assistance.

The lower lavender plant that is hugging the walkway is ‘Walker’s Low’ catmint (Nepeta × faassenii  'Walker's Low', USDA Hardiness Zones 3-10)and the taller plant rising from the back of the border is milky bellflower (Campanula lactiflora, Zones 5-7).
