Fall In NH
These are pictures of my yard the morning after a nor'easter hit NH. Also, photos of my garden taken in fall. We had a very dry summer this year, but it seems to have brought out the color!

I love the long days of summer and the bright light. Autumn however, is so magically colorful, as your photos display to perfection.
Leaves are Gone ... (post #18136, reply #4 of 4)
I try to spend every free moment in the garden or outdoors. My dad is an amateur photographer and I think I caught the camera bug. When I see the way the light transforms nature I have a need to capture and hold it!
Unfortunately all the leaves are gone now, the frost has killed all the annuals and most of the perennials, the darkness comes early, and I am spending the remaining daylight hours raking and cleaning up the beds (they seem to grow bigger every year!)
Athough, as I cut back and clean up there are little surprises hidden, such as a peach leaved bellflower blooming among the leaf litter or a late Rosey Returns Daylily, and the Monkshood is blooming 5 feet tall through frost and storm standing tall all alone! Soon I will be planting bulbs and looking forward to spring.
I enjoyed sharing my pictures, thank you for your kind comments!
