I love the combination of Japanese maple and Hosta. Anyone else like combining these two?

An interesting and pleasant mix of colors, the pink is very effective surrounded the mixed shades of green.

I want to plant a Japanese Maple in a part shady/part sunny area of my front garden. I like they way your tree looks with the hostas. I have a blue/green colour theme in my front garden, but I think the red of the maple leaves would add a nice contrast to the blue green.
