What is this plant?
It looks alot like Callicarpa americana but in a miniture size. The berries are the same color and show off in the fall. The berries are in clusters all the way down each stem but much smaller than American beautyberry. I was given this plant acouple of years ago and would like to know what I have.

I believe your mystery plant (post #15886, reply #2 of 4)
I believe your mystery plant is another species of Callicarpa; either C. dichotoma or C. bodinieri.

I'd guess C. dichotoma given (post #15886, reply #3 of 4)
I'd guess C. dichotoma given the smaller size, though I've always had trouble differentiating those two.

Thanks country gardener and Karen. There are a couple of American beautyberry on the property and my c.dichotoma looked the same but alot smaller, so I wasn't sure what I had. Now I have a name for it, thanks again.
