I think he's right - some of those catalogs are near-garden porn for those us with lust in our hearts for plants.

Yes, I noticed that too. Did you catch last week, when his fussy hybrid bulbs were complaining about the rocks and the shallow holes? Good thing my bulbs can't talk back to me!

I was thinking of posting this also. Great minds, as they say! Except mine forgets to remember to actually do stuff, so thanks for doing it. I think a great idea for a garden book would be to collect all the cartoons about gardening into one big volume. There are some really good Ziggy ones, and I have some Hagar the Horrible ones on my fridge. Many of them seem to have to do with rabbits for some reason.
