Troy-Bilt 575SS String Trimmer
I just bought a Troy-Bilt TB575SS String Trimmer. It's the one with a 29-CC 4 Cycle engine, straight shaft and a 17 inch cut. Paid $145.00 at Lowes because it was discontinued. I have now read almost all, (8 of 9), consumer response have been negative due to engine failure within the first year. I havn't opened the box. Does anybody have any feed back on this trimmer? Thanks Gary

Thanks BJ
I usually hang out on FHB Breaktime so I am understanding of the transition. Thanks for the note. Good luck with the transition. I did get a friend of my, who is a big time gardener, to look at the Fine Gardening homepage today. She was somewhat reluctant to look but was soon reading the articles. Looking forward to hear from the folks on your forum. Gary

I don't own it but I looked it up on Amazon. 15 out of 21 reviewers gave this product one star - the lowest rating you can give. I would definitely beware.
