Climbing rose

Hey! Thanks in advance for your help. Crown Princess Margarita. It has been planted since the first week in April beside an 8ft arbor. Since I want this rose to grow tall as a climber, is there a need to prune it? If so, how and when? PLEASE be specific about pruning as I have never pruned a climber to grow tall. How long can I expect to wait for CPM to reach its mature height?

By the way. I ordered nine roses from J&Pthis spring and all did great but one, Aromatherapy.  J&P sent out a replacement within a week and it is doing great. The agricultural department guy was great about telling me everything I needed to know about taking care of my new roses. I just couldn't bring myself to ask him about anothers company's rose.  Please help!
