Hey everyone-

Some years ago, I saw an arbor made out of long (living) branches of a flowering tree.  It looked like the ends had been pushed into the ground and then rooted.  It made a beautiful and natural arbor, especially when it flowered.  

I have a beautiful flowering crab with branches almost long enough to try this.  Is there anything I need to know?  Any advice will be so appreciated.
