I just read the Fine Gardening article on 'Flowering Paperwhites for Winter Windowsills' by Brent Heath and no mention was made concerning Narcissus 'Ariel'. Why not? I thought it was a Paperwhite too. Does anybody know?? I grew some Ariels and Zivas and thought the Ariel was more fragrant. Also the shorter stalk on the Ariel kept the flowers from falling over.

I didn't read the article but, yes it's a paperwhite. Obviously the Heath's can't mention every variety of bulb in an article. But they do carry it in their store:
