I have a scientific interest in stinging nettle.  I live in upstate New York in the Northern Catskill Mountain area, and have never seen this plant growing here.  If anyone could help me locate and procure this rather  unpopular plant, I would be most appreciative.

Nettle Soup.   The cooking takes the sting out of it, of course!

 

Very nutritious & common in the U.K. wherever there is cultivated & then neglected land.    A real Nitrogen-lover.
