WORM FARM
DO ANY OF YOU WORM FARM? It is easier than composting.
I do both, but worm farming can be done inside for Winter
I have been worm farming for the last three years. I made mine out of two rubbermaid totes. I feed my red wigglers all my kitchen scraps. They reward me with the best fertilizer...worm castings and worm liquid. I am in Wisconsin, so during the Winter months I put my worm farm in my basement. No it doesn't stink or the worms do not crawl out. I use shredded newspaper for bedding. I bottle up all the worm juice for use in Spring.
