Recommendations for Patios and Walkways (post #15399)

Can anyone recommend some good DIY books for patios and walkways? We are looking to redo our brink walkway this summer and create a patio in the back. Will most likely be doing all the work ourselves. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Good list so far but I'd add Owen Dell's new Sustainable Landscaping For Dummies to the mix. It's a fresh approach to keeping your garden and construction as green as possible.

Thank you for adding this to the list! An important addition and one that hopefully will influence people to think differently about how they landscape.
