HAS ANYONE GROWN BORAGE?
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and hoping that someone can give me some helpful hints on growing the herb, BORAGE. I like the blue flowers and the package says once established it will selfsow,I would like that. I would also use it in my salads. Any other suggestions? Thank you so much. Smiles, Lark

I grew borage once from seed
I grew borage once from seed and agree that it self-sows like crazy. I just give it to neighbors or weed it out. Here in northern Italy borage grows wild and the locals put it in pasta, like spinach pasta only with borage!
As others have said, it's
As others have said, it's easy to grow, and it self-sows "reliably" (which is to say incessantly). However, it's easy to uproot if it's in the way. I love the blue flowers, and the young leaves have a vaguely cucumber taste in salads. Try them before they get too furry.
