Italian parsley leaf shape Q.
I am growing italian parsley, and as the plant(s) become taller, the leaves change shape to an "orzo"/single leaf shape and has what I assume are seed heads?
Is this shape I described normal in this parsley?

Your plants are going to seed. Parsley is a biennial and seeds the second year. I'lve had this happen too--even though it's YOUR first year (or two or three months!) with the plant, it is two years old. It's disappointing. Sorry... I think you can still use these leaves, but I don't know if they have a different flavor.

I'm experiencing this with a couple of parsley plants this year. I thought it might have something to do with all the heat we've had this summer. These are plants that I started from seed in Feb. so I KNOW they are first year plants.
