Duck manure tea?
My 4 ducks swim (and pop) in a 10-gal tub. Twice a week I change the water. I have heard of using manure tea on vegetable gardens and am wondering if I can use this duck water safely to water my veggies?
Thanks in advance for any helpful info you can send. Rand

There's a small agricultural area in the northeast corner of California called Tule Lake. It used to be home to over 6 million waterfowl (ducks & geese) until they drained most of it to create farmland back in the early twentieth century. A million or so waterfowl still call it home and excrete in the fields and water on a regular basis. That water is what the farmers irrigate with. I'd say you're probably safe using yours, but I'd thoroughly wash the harvest to be sure you're not picking up any unwanted bacterial terrors.

You can use that water but whether it would be safe depends on the heatlh of those ducks. As previously suggested be sure to wash any produce from that garden before you eat any and do not grow root crops in that soil.
What beside that duck manure water would be added to your soil?
