New to pepper growing
Hi all, I've been gardening organically for ?30 some years up in northern NH, but haven't had a whole lot of success with peppers. Every so often I try them again, and so I did this year. I grew my own seedlings, they look good, and they have buds, and one has flowers. I was going to put them in the ground this week--warmed with black plastic. Do I take the flowers off first? Pinch off the buds? Or just leave 'em alone. Hoping for the best this year. Isn't that what gardening is about? Thanks.

peppers (post #17241, reply #1 of 2)
No!! Don't pinch off the flowers. That's where the peppers will grow! My sister lives north of Albany, NY and also does not do well with peppers. They like long hot growing seasons. If your weather isn't too cold and wet this year you may have some luck. Worth a shot always!

Leave those flowers alone! I agree with Ediechev, the flowers will turn into the peppers. Should be able to transplant no problem just do anything to the actual plant. What kind of peppers?
