I would love any advice on how to stop the squirrels from eating my tomatoes?!  Please!

At my place the squirrels are too busy eating the cherries and plums to bother with the tomatoes. The only thing I can think of that might help is to rig netting in such a way that you can get in to pick and prune, but the squirrels will be foiled.
