tomato disease after pruning
When I prune my tomatoes I get a disease or fungus that attacks the plants. Is there a spray on or paint on remedy for the wound until it heals? I have not pruned this year for fear of the disease again and the plants are way out of control. So I don't have any recent photos.

tomato diseases (post #19256, reply #1 of 1)
You can help prevent disease by grafting your tomatoes onto hardy rootstock that is resistant to most soilborne diseases. It won't prevent airborn diseases, however, but it will make for a much hardier plant overall, that can better withstand bug and disease pressures.
