Looks like the Aero Garden system has been reduced from last year's prices?
Who has purchased one of these, would you recommend to grow herbs, or lettuce?? Or do you know of another brand to purchase to do the same?

Aero Garden - too small - not enough light (post #18246, reply #1 of 1)
My daughter grew a small tomatoe plant in the Aero Garden. She got 10 cherry tomatoes. She also grew herbs. The unit is too small for anything serious and the plants grew out from under the hood toward the window for more light. I found the IndoorSaladGarden grow box. Good for lettuce, spinach, radishes, carrots, onions, tomatoes. Bigger, deeper and lots of light. 30 tomatoes on one plant.
