A new school is planned for an old homesite in NC Union Co. that has several mature fig trees. Before they are so insanely plowed under, I would love to "save" some cuttings to plant. How do I go about this process at this time of year? I am afraid to wait as the dirt movers don't seem to have any schedule so its hard to know how much longer the trees will be there. There are also apple and pear trees, a blackberry bush, and crabapple trees. I would love to nurture some of each.
Thank you!
Elaine
